We just needed a quiet room for the night. No, I didn't make an error they did, but it wasn't a big deal. We arrive and I'm told that they have no pet-friendly suites, I must have made an error in booking. He nattered on about this great suite he was going to put us in, how big and nice it was, that I had points to cover it and it wouldn't be anymore points than a regular room. I booked a reservation for my husband, our dog, and me with Edwin, whom I reached at the property (not at central reservations or points etc.), eleven days before our arrival. The only things I found acceptable was that the refrigerator was cold and clean and the bed was nice.ġMarcia W. There were 3 couples and none of us will ever stay again. Very cheap place that I had to pay $130 for. If you are going to sell every other kind of beverage in your hotel, why not offer water? If you are going to leave the desk how about leave a note? By the way, please upgrade a very tiny bit and get soap that you can actually lather. We waited a few minutes and then went to the nearest Chevron to buy bottled water. In fact, there was another customer who had been there for several minutes and never saw a clerk. There was no water available to buy and and found no one at the desk. We couldn't find an ice machine so we went to the front desk to ask and buy a bottle of water. I needed a drink but the water out of the faucet tasted so much like chlorine it was like drinking a pool. There is a sign to watch your step at the top of the stair after you have already climbed up it. The outdoor staircase leading to our room had chunks of concrete out of the stair and other large cracks as you are going up. I think they reserve their worst rooms for the discounts. I am guessing we received a discounted room because of the discount price. 1 year ago Our room looking NOTHING like the booking pictures. The pool is indoors but it was freezing and the hot tub didn't work. When we had issues with the door not opening they said they couldn't give us a new room. Our room didn't seem like it was cleaned before we got there because there was a water bottle and a cup left. However, I don't think that was sufficient. My husband went and complained and they gave us a 20% discount. The door handle fell off the morning we were checking out. Thankfully nobody tried to come into our room. Which is scary and we didn't realize until the next morning. We stayed 2 nights and the last night our door didn't lock. He stayed to make sure we were able to get back in. He had to go get batteries for the door and it still didn't work but he finally got the door open. They finally sent up the maintenance guy and he tried the master key and that wouldn't even work. My husband had to go to the front desk 3 times because our key wasn't working.
